Woo hoo well if the weather decided to behave itself.

We have lots of football this weekend so please just to be dry would be a bonus.

    Have a good weekend everyone

I'm off to London in the morning... although it's a 6.30am flight so will be up from 4am. ... but have not been over to visit my friend from last summer so can't wait

We don't actually have any plans. Today and yesterday I have been clearing out cupboards, which just thrills me. I am on a roll and would love to do it all weekend, but it's virtually impossible to do when DD is at home.

Yesterday was our 16th wedding anniversary and so DH and I went for coffee and a lovely walk in the morning. Last night we all went out to an art exhibition in Kensington to see a picture of DD's on display. We had dinner afterwards and a walk looking at all the sights in that area. It was lovely - we never do anything during the week usually. So, I have had my fun and am ready for sensible stuff again. DD has a swimming assessment on Saturday and I really hope they move her up to the next class as she isn't challenged enough in this class now and spends time waiting around for the others to finish. They cost too much money for that!

DD and I have started doing Junior Parkrun on Sunday again and then maybe just chilling. Last week, we did 'family reading time' - sounds so dull but it was fab. It was almost as if DH and I gave ourselves permission to just read our books in the middle of the day - and it got DD reading too which was the aim, so we will be doing that again this weekend. Live life in the fast lane!

    :-)
I was about to say I was having a restful weekend then realised maybe not!
DH & DS are going karting in mega fast karts tomorrow, so DD and I watching.
Sunday the Tour de Yorkshire is passing by, plus a local tractor run of about 200 tractors and also a local 10k run! I'm helping to steward all day.
Monday I think we are finally going out to celebrate DHs birthday from beginning of the week!

I'll be needing to get back to work for a rest!
