    Default Friday

I hope no one is suffering from the winds and weather.

Are we all looking forward to the weekend?

Has everyone got anything nice planned?

As usual its football and football here ( weather permitting).

It's very windy here today. I don't know what time it woke me up, but I lay in bed listening to the bedroom door creaking backwards and forwards for hours before I could drag myself up to close it.

No work for me today, apart from having my grandson here for a few hours this morning. Hopefully he'll sleep for at least an hour so I can plod on with some paperwork.

No plans for the weekend. It's the first one this year when I haven't had anything planned, so I'm going to relax and do as little as possible!

I did some supply teaching this morning. Some people don't like just doing half a day but I don't mind. It means I don't have to do handover at the end of the day which I find so stressful. No plans this weekend. We've all had colds and sore throats so it will be lovely to not have to be anywhere. We'll have a nice day out somewhere though.

We've just had some new under the bed storage boxes delivered, and I'm really looking forward to doing some sorting and organisation. I'm easily pleased.

    oooo, enjoy!

I'm starting to mull over re-organising my playroom. I can't move the big units, nor really the other storage ( as guinea pig cage lives on top during winter, and it would stick out too much if I moved it to the only other space it would fit! ) but I am having a re-think of what is accessible and how/what is actually accessed!

currently the main objects of delight are the heuristic boxes of bits, and the dolls! and this week, the duplo! I'm tempted to hide everything away except the heuristic for a week and see what happens!

Had a quiet day here with just two little oneS,
Glad as I have been under the weather and dh has been away so it's been a llooonngg week! I am out tonight to my friends 40th which was supposed to run 1130-4am (yes that is not a typo! We are not 21 anymore lol!) but has now changed to 930 onwards,
So I shall go for a while and see
How it goes. Not in the mood really. Dinner first with a friend though and another friend coming to so should be ok

Then I am intending on spending some time over the weekend seeing if I can expand our pet boarding business. enough to cover the two little ones who are leaving or reducing hours while mum on maternity in May. I am feeling burned out with the childminding right now not helped by one set of parents (luckily mum is one of the pregnant ones so I may just not have reduced hours available oops) who insisted on sending a very sick baby this week, got him into a habit of being cuddled to sleep and then sleeping the entire nap on their laps resulting in him roaring every day this week ,
Not sleeping anyway near enough and disturbing the others, they don't pay on time and communication is zilch (rocked up today at 930
Instead of 8.. That's not going to be fun when girls are off school and I don't have to start before 9 for anyone else)

Sorry that was a rant . Hope everyone's Friday has gone well and you all
Enjoy your well earned break over the weekend !

We hid out in the house watching all our gear in the yard getting smashed and blown away Nothing we could do about it. On the upside, my yard is the tidiest is has EVER been. Mostly cos it is entirely empty now but for the rabbit palace :'( Ah well, I wanted all new gear.

Oh I wish I'd never started now! I've got stuff everywhere and I've run out of energy. My bugbear when I get organising is...the miscellaneous items that don't belong in any particular box. First world problem! Good luck with your reorganisation!
