    Default ITS THE WEEKEND

And it looks like a busy one but weather dependent.

So today its dance, football and bag packing for cadets.
Tomorrow its family mass and football.

Got to try and fit in Christmas shopping wrapping etc all the bit I don't want to do Christmas eve. I also want to start on the foods for Christmas so I can stick them in the freezer

Have a good weekend, stay warm and dry but if you do see snow don't forget to let me know

    Morning.

You'll be pleased to know I went shopping last night and have actually bought some Christmas presents Still a long way to go, but it's a start!

Our eldest son is here for the weekend so we're having a belated birthday tea for him today. All our children and their partners will be here so it'll be a full family get together. They won't all be here at the same times over Christmas or New Year, so this is the last time we'll all be together this year. I must charge the battery in my camera so I can take the obligatory 'all children here, so must take a photo' picture

Woke earlier today than I have all week. So I'm on the second wash load, have defrosted the freezer n cleaned out the fridge. Got to get parcels from post office n pick up some soap n glory sets I've ordered as a surprise for my 2 daughters. They were half price yesterday!! Making grandson 1st birthday cake with dd1. Then wrapping pressie tonight while dd2 is out. Family meal tomorrow evening after joe has his b'day party in the afternoon. Then it's Monday again n all preschools have finished so planning activities to keep them amused!!

Saturday was meant to be the library and shopping, but library is closed for a members' party and now my DD needs help with the grandchildren.

Sunday is my annual Father Christmas duty at the local pub's Winter Wonderland. Shame nobody ever cancels that one for me.

Had a bit of a lie in and now doing all the jobs that need doing.
Dd has last panto tonight and mil/partner are coming to watch/stay so dh is running round like a looney clearing up ( and moaning there is stuff everywhere ... well ... He arranged for dining room to be decorated and so we've had to empty that room into a house with no spare rooms! )
    Church and band concert tomorrow.
Dd is meant to be resting as got ballet exam tomorrow (as well as panto tonight!) And is shattered.
Fortunately ds is still not playing football, but matches cancelled due to wet pitches.

Ooooo just looked out of the window .. BIG sleety snowflakes :-) but too wet to settle. :-(

I want snow too instead of this rain.

So far we have dropped ds off at cadets, dds football was cancelled not holding out much hope for ds's tomorrow.

been up to town to find out one of the presents we wanted is out of stock everywhere and Im refusing to pay over the odds for it. So we had doughnuts and waffles from the market and then oatcakes.

loocyloo enjoy the closing night of the panto! My sister and I did a few pantos as kids and absolutely loved every minute.

I have just been shopping for a Christmas jumper for DD to wear on Monday at school. Jam packed and horrible everywhere. Got her a sweet enough jumper but the skirt I got her to go with it is too small and the tights are ridiculously long, so will have to go out again tomorrow.

Chilling now and about to get out some more decorations (only the tree is up) and then DD is swimming at 5. Indian tonight, then Strictly and once DD is in bed I 'might' wrap some pressies or write some cards. Christmas baking tomorrow.

Have a lovely time Mouse with all your 'baby' mice.

Fast losing the will to live. Sat dd down last night and insisted she writes her letter to santa. 2 hours of humming and arring I have high heels, wellies and goalkeeping gloves. I put toys r us on the internet 3 of the 4 things she has choose are out of stock.

Beginning to wish I hadn't asked now

Oh no .... good luck hunting down what you want.

One year when dd was little i was all organised and sorted ... 3 days before Christmas we ended up somewhere with a Father Christmas ... dd had always refused to talk to him ... not this one ... she told him what she wanted more than anything else was a cuddly panda ! (Having never ever mentioned it ever before) ... cue mad panic of rushing round toy shops to find one. (Luckily we did ;0) )

Is your dd related to mine? A couple of years ago we had brought the presents went to see santa and she stood there and said all she wanted was a pink guitar. My brother was laughing his head off at mine and dhs faces as obviously we hadn't brought one yes we did the mad dash to try and find one

Got to love them though she did say she wanted the fur baby unicorn teddy but its £119.00 at that price I want to be able to fly
