    The grandchildren are excited.................

..............and miffed that their mum is going to it first with her BF instead of taking them.

And then there's the big day itself:

Only 13 more sleeps 'til the first test in Durban.

I have four older brothers who were obsessed with it, and had all the toys and everything. It felt like it was always on as a child. I couldn't stand it and really envied my friends who had sisters. For some reason I didn't think any girls would like it. Thankfully DH didn't like it either, so I don't think we'll be rushing to the cinema! Enjoy!

I've never really been interested in Star Wars films although my brother was a big fan. I don't know that I've ever seen more than one film and I would assume that was the very first one.

I have to admit to finding it watchable, at least the first few releases. I also play the Star Wars AOTC CCG with my grandson (and usually find myself facing ignominious defeat by turn 5 )

I love the Family Guy spoofs: Blue Harvest and Something, Something, Something Dark Side. Wish they'd catch up and spoof the other films.

That's where all my knowledge of Star Wars comes from!
