After a brilliant and very sociable weekend it's back to earth with a bump. I'm not childminding and am busy filling out application forms and supporting statements for a two day a week teaching job/maternity cover at my old school and filling out agency forms for supply teaching work for the other days. My head hurts - so many bits of information to fill in/evidence to provide etc. Think I'm going to have to go for a little rainy walk to clear my head before I can carry on.

I've got such a busy two months ahead of me with logistically challenging appointments, rehearsals, visitors etc that I just want to hibernate. I don't have time to work lol.

    Have fun everyone. x

I have also hit the ground running this morning after a very busy weekend, have got 4 children all day (one mum has an exam tomorrow and asked for an extra day) included in the 4 is a new baby and this is her first whole day - not going to badly so far, but when she has been asleep in cot, the rain has stopped and we have twice missed our opportunity to go for a quick walk.

Oh I know that feeling of missing opportunities while the babies are sleeping! I've just remembered, the only thing I dislike about childminding at this time of year is all the wet leaves that stick the wheels of the pushchair and get dragged into the hallway.

I've been at the hospital all day with ds (13) who broke his arm playing football yesterday. He stayed in and it needed setting and he kept being bumped from theatre due to emergencies :-( it was finally done this afternoon. Dh is still with him as I came home to sort dd and put her to bed! ( been at friends afterschool ).
So I have achieved zilch today and I was planning on sending all my parents the monthly observation updates, getting my new book theme/activities sorted and filing my tax return! ( don't work Mondays! )

Have just rejigged all my planning for the rest of the week to include ds being home and possibly needing support to do things.

Hope he makes a speedy recovery - I'm still working on my tax return for last year - well I should be but keep getting distracted!

Thanks. Took a while to get him asleep ... I was all but singing lullabies! But still asleep now! I could do with more sleep! But 3 LOs arriving in 20 mins! In a way I'm glad it's a miserable day ... think we're having a lazy one at home!
