Are we all enjoying the weather?
Most of you know I love the snow but I love the sunny weather just as much. My idea of heaven is snow on a sunny day. Sledging would be amazing today.
Washing on the line being able to walk the kids and dogs with no whinging because there will be ice cream at the end. Well not today as I didn't take my purse with me
Long may the weather last
When someone tells you nothing is impossible, tell them to go slam a revolving door

It's Bliss!
I'm loving just being able to have the door open and everyone being able to potter wherever they want!

Just sitting in the garden in the early evening sunshine after a few days of gardening, my garden looks like we care for it again. A big greenhouse and some of the children's little greenhouse is full of sown seed trays.
All the children's resources have been cleaned and dried in the sunshine too and new hiding places found for easy put away of the garden resources....not a sign from where I am sitting at the moment that children use this garden!
And another forecasted good day for tomorrow!
Must be lovely to have nice weather with the LO's in the holiday, but I am glad I am having a week off!

We've had glorious busy day - morning at soft play and home for a quick lunch and then out to the local country park for the whole afternoon - no rushing back for the school run. I'll be complaining it's to hot soon but not just yet, it's heaven!

It's wonderful! I love it when it is not too hot so that you need sun cream but warm enough that you don't need big, cumbersome coats. Not working this week and so the three of us have spent all day every day doing gardening. Gosh it was in need of some attention. DD has done a mixture of really getting stuck into gardening and just playing. Lovely. A little robin has been stalking us all week and she is desperate for it to land on her. At the start of the holidays I had a big list of trips that I wanted to go on but I haven't done any - DD and I have both just felt the garden pulling us. Apart from a couple of trips to the garden centre we haven't been out into civilisation at all. Today we got her her first ice cream from the ice cream van which comes around - a tradition I used to love from childhood. The ice cream van man just happened to mention that he stops by every day in the holidays. Hubby and I keep saying how relaxed we are - he works from home and so he is loving not having the mindees around too (as much as we love them, they really are darlings).
Isn't the sound of birdsong just so wonderful? x

I did a thorough clean and tidy of the playroom on Tuesday, ready to start working again yesterday. We've then spent most of yesterday & today in the garden, so the playroom is still as tidy as it was
I did some pottering round in the garden, but once I'd done as much as I could I just sat in the chair enjoying the sunshine - the children didn't want me to play with them, so what else could I do!!

I'm loving it! I especially enjoyed walking past my old place of work yesterday where I would have been stuck inside with no window knowing I was on my way to the park to feed the ducks have a picnic and get paid for it :-D
