    Default Becoming vegan...

    Morning all,

So I've been a vegetarian for years but have decided that this year I am going to make the move to becoming a vegan...

Is there anyone else on here that is a vegan and has any advice or any useful links etc?

I've found that Holland and Barrett do vegan flapjacks which is useful, but am still finding my feet really...

I'm trying very hard to be good

    Thanks in advance peeps,

Hi. I too have been a veggie for years and went vegan at Xmas. I found it tough to do all at once. My hubby and kids all eat meat but he's been so supportive. One thing he did say was even by just cutting out a little bit of dairy I was saving a few extra animals. I used to live on cheese spread sandwiches, loved them. Tesco did some dairy free cheese spread but it was awful and I was ready to cave in until I found violite dairy free spread in asda. Shop around. Little miss meat free is a fab site, she has a Facebook page too. I've been completely vegan for a month now and I love it. X

    Fab stuff...thanks so much.
I never thought I ate a lot until I've cut it out and actually I used to eat loads...buy I feel better for going vegan and I've also got a vegan pinterest board now which is helping cos I can pin bits and pieces and recipes etc.
Will definitely look at the site you mentioned

Little miss meat free has a 2 min microwave brownie recipe. It's awesome with some dairy free ice cream, the kids here love it.
