Default So when do we all finish for Christmas?

Are you taking time off over Christmas?

I finish 530 Thursday and go back the 6th January.

Looking forward to the time off

Yes same here, the great inset days lol.
I've been asked to have 2 of my adhoc school children that day but it depends on whether all my EY's children need me that day, it's not looking like I will have any spaces for any schoolies anyway. Just my own 2 and they are usually a great help to me with the LO's.

Fingers crossed your hubby gets Christmas Day. We normally only have my partner for Christmas Day, so know how important that one day can be to your family xx

I finish on Tuesday 23rd and start back on the following Monday, possibly Tuesday.

I was ready to work whatever required.

I chose to 'disappoint' one mum. They all had 4 weeks opportunity to tell me what they needed, then I closed on the days nobody had positively said they'd need me. I took full account of all who'd bothered to reply and no account of those who simply couldn't be bothered. Naturally, when I notified all parents of my closure dates, it was one of those who couldn't be ar5ed to reply who kicked off: "but I need you Christmas Eve." Yes, well not enough to mention it when she had the chance, so I'm not changing my plans.

So frustrating when you give them every opportunity and that happens.

This is why I now please myself and make sure I get the time off even though it's unpaid.. Have been mucked around too much
