Just have to put the decorations on the tree. Started yesterday then the bf rang to ask me to go to the Christmas Market so I abandoned it all lol children due to arrive soon and all but 1 are new from last Christmas so I am hoping they do not keep touching the decorations. But the one thing I can't stand is when parents collect and let the children touch the ornaments on the tree while I'm standing there saying they not allowed to touch them.

Are you ready? Umm...no. Although I have started to write a christmas present list
Tree up? No. I normally get round to that by about the 15th December
House decorated? I have got a nativity scene on the mantelpiece - does that count?
Presents wrapped? In order to do that I'd have to have bought some...so no!
Elf visiting? No. My children are grown up so no point doing it for them...and I'm not organised enough to have planned it for the mindees
But I am excited for Christmas!

Calendar up, kind elf visiting. About to empty little book shelf and get out Christmas books. Going to put snowmen hand towel in bathroom in a minute but I think other decs will wait. Will start Christmas art and craft activities today. No presents wrapped - hate that job and still recovering from wrapping birthday presents for the weekend just gone. x

All presents bought but not wrapped.
We have a few dec's up but will put more up on the 13th, that's when my tree will go up too.
Haven't started crafts with children yet but plan to do that tomorrow.

I have already sent art and crafts home. Aim to do one Christmas activity a week as the children are all part time so I start it on a Monday and make sure all the children get a chance to do the activity during the week.

I'm a bit of a 'Bah Humbug'. Only get exited two weeks before the big day. By Boxing day I want to pack it all away! I much prefer Xmas Eve to the actual day itself.

Tree done,
House decorated,
Cards written
Shopping finished
Presents nearly all wrapped.
Never been so organised but my first grandchild is due on 9th December and I want to spend my time cuddling him, not rushing about with xmas preparation. And I have to say, being this organised, I feel really christmassy and excited,

We have 7 (yes, seven!) Advent calendars this year. Four choccy ones: one each for DH and the kids, fabric puppet one (one puppet has disappeared....), paper reindeer one (saved from last year) and another paper one sent from a friend (didn't even get round to opening that one yesterday, oops).
No tree yet (still thinking about what to do as we have very little space)
Some presents are wrapped, most are not.
Will decorate the house slowly over the next two/three weeks. I am itching to go and buy decorations. There's a lovely Christmas shop near us but it's not a 'with children' trip and I haven't had time to go alone yet. Hoping this week.
No elf here. I have thought about doing it but Advent is fairly busy as it is.
New this year: Jesse tree for Advent
I am so proud of myself as I have just finished our Christmas newsletter!!!!!
