I know how you must be feeling but rest assured you will get used to it! I have 3 sons and 1 daughter and I hated it when each one left, especially my daughter as the relationship with her boyfriend didn't really work out and she was unhappy, but with her new partner they lived here for a couple of years and then moved to their own place. Really strange at first but I think I'm lucky as she is my assistant and I see her every weekday and even a weekend day sometimes! She has 2 girls now so I've seen them practically every day of their lives which makes us really close and I love it!

It seemed so odd when our eldest 2 left home. One moved some distance away, but we do talk on the phone most days. The other lives much closer and we see him most days.

It didn't take long to get used to them not being here and does actually have its advantages! There are another 3 still at home so we haven't quite got empty nest syndrome yet, but I know it will seem very strange when the last one leaves.
