I'm counting the minutes 'till Thursday when they go back to school although my grand daughter isn't back until Monday. Looking forward to getting back to a routine - the holidays have been lovely but very tiring with lots of schoolies as well as the lo's. I've got 4 starting school this year and they all seem to be starting next week when I'm off so hopefully they will all be settled in by the time I get back to work

I've got one of my own children back on Friday and the other on Monday.
This year I've only got one mindee leaving for school. I don't do school runs, so I won't have him after this week.

lol! I did 15 years of school runs and was sooooo happy when they finished. I miss them a bit when the weather's nice, but not at all when it's cold, wet & windy!

Think we are really going to struggle getting back into the swing of things its a been a lovely six weeks off but boy our routine has really gone through the window. Late nights late mornings no set meal times lazy days
Im also keeping the tradition of not having any of the uniform labelled yet.
Have a good day everyone
Snap . I have taken 3 weeks off work through the holidays and our routine is non-existent. DS hasn't been going to bed until the same time as me some nights and DD hasn't been going until 8.30 - 9.00pm. We have had no set agenda to stick to and meal times and content have been very relaxed. It's going to be so hard to go back to rules and routines . Oh and I haven't labelled anything yet either. I bought the new uniforms about 3 weeks ago but only got them to try it all on 2 days ago. Luckily no alterations are required.

Opps forgot to trying them on - oh I hope there is no sewing required as I am terrible with a needle and thread

My eldest daughter went back today (secondary school).
Meithrin (playgroup/nursery) went back this morning in the primary school.
Primary years (youngest daughter) goes back tomorrow. I got very confused with who was going back and when. Luckily everyone was in the right place at the right time and I got an extra one this morning because meithrin went back and primary didn't and Mum works in Meithrin
Some schools went back yesterday around here.

My eldest was so eager to go to school that she caught the bus, went all the way to school and then got sent back home (one the same bus, which waited for her). Her year 8 starts tomorrow. Never mind, she's been great entertaining the baby
