    Default mrsh-1 Thomas Cook-0

We booked our summer holiday months ago and spent £2500 for 4 of us.
We got a phone call on Thursday from Thomas Cook telling us our flight times had been changed. The new flight home was now 5.05am. This meant we would have to leave our hotel at 2am! Waking 2 small children. Because the flight change didn't exceed 4 hours we weren't entitled to any compensation and as we are booked to go within 4 weeks we couldn't cancel either.

So we got round it by completely changing the holiday. We're now going to a different resort and have really good flight times.
AND..... because they have now reduced their prices for that week as it's so close we managed to get a better hotel, a room upgrade and free transfers!
They also had to refund us £725

Bloomin' well one to you! I'm sick of flight/holiday companies doing what they like and taking everyone for granted. Have a fabulous time! x

At least you got a load of money back. They changed ours by 24 hours the week before. I was ok as had booked the day before off but we had friends coming with us who drove from Cumbria to the south coast who had to change their work holiday to fit

Happened to us last year instead of 6.30 am they changed it to 4.30 pm no compensation in fact they couldn't care less, lost nearly a days holiday, makes me so angry.
