Hi Rick.
Hope yours is going well.
Sadly, mine isn't.
Bad start on Friday when lo's took home the cards they made. 2 mums' comments were along the lines of "oh no - not another one. They made them at preschool, etc. Guess I'll just decide which to give him and which goes in the recycling."
I'm afraid my day is already ruined by having to fit entirely round the needy selfishness of my son-in-law.

No worries.
At some point, I'm going to get to the allotment. I need to catch up on burying the bodies.

DH has face timed with sons....main conversation football....luxuriating in his favourite music being played....after allthe football highlights...then french language lesson catch up followed by Switzerland game at 4, a french themed dinner followed by the french match at 8. Youngest son lives with French lads so a face time link is organised so that he can authentically watch the match with official fans!!
All fav things today...much deserved as he is a great dad, the boys think so too, but live a great distance away so not easy to share with them which is a shame.

Cheers Rick, hope you have a had a good one.
I have had a great Fathers Day, spoilt by both my boys with some great pressies and now just waiting for Take away to be delivered then a bit of footie.

A belated Happy Fathers Day Bunyip and Rick (and any of Dads on here!)
Bunyip, I never understand why parents don't appreciate the artwor their children do, makes me sad! And why can't they give Daddy both cards??!?
DS made a lovely card and canvas at nursery on Friday, was not expecting as he's only 1 day a week and 10 months old, but we were mde up with it despite us having one our own thing.
Hope you managed to enjoy your day in the end, and Rick hope you had a good day?
We had a lovely day out at a local farm after a lie in and breakfast in bed for DH

Woo! Fortunately for me DH is a Motorsport fan rather than football so we are doing a great job of missing it all! Lol
