    Default Oh if only !!!!!

Bought my Daughter (9) a loom bands set on Friday.
She has spent all weekend on it, along with her best friend, making bracelets and necklaces galore.
Not looked at her I pad once.
If only I could find something SO engrossing for all my mindees !!!
The downside is I have to wear a lurid pink bracelet made of mini elastic bands until it drops off my wrist as she made one just for me !!!

I've got a rainbow coloured band - so it goes with anything...yay, no excuse not to wear it!!

I like the sound of your Daisy Duck tattoos Bunyip. I have a glitter flower tattoo on my hand at the moment. I got a few funny looks over the weekend. These things are fine if you have a child with you, but when you're by yourself they lose some of their cuteness

Sounds fab! You say your DD is9, would it be good for 5 year olds do you think or does it suit older children? x

My dd is 8 and has been asking for 1 of these... I thought they sounded a bit odd but good to hear they actually work. I may consider it now!

If you have The Works near you, they sell the offical 'Rainbow Loom' set, but also do a much cheaper one that works just the same!

I think a 5 year old would find it a bit frustrating as it can be a bit fiddly. My DD11 loves hers.

I also think a 5 year old may find it too fiddly.
I paid £15 for it in Tesco and bought extra bands in Poundland. She is on it again now !!!
