    Default Stag dos

How many of your other halfs or the guys out there had private lap dances at there stag do. Well mine did and it's upset me more than I thought.

I was perfectly fine with a strip club and even when I thought the lap dances were in a group with his mates but the private bit has got to me as it has changed it from a laugh with his mates to something more sexual

Am I overreacting. I must specify I did say to him I wasn't particularly happy with him having a private one. I am very trusting, I do understand what guys are like but if anything my downfalls are my own self confidence.

    Oh i feel for you!

I would mind my partner going into one but to pay for a dance (IMO) that just crosses a line!

It cost £200 too £100 of which he paid himself and we are hardly flush particularly when paying for a wedding.

Now if he spent that kind of money I would be making him suffer slowly and for a very long time

Haven't said anything to him yet. He told me when we were out so I didn't want to cause a scene. Now He's snoring away after his weekend away.

I wouldn't be happy. If he knew you weren't happy with that why did he have one? Hugs x

I was 7 months pregnant when hubby was made redundant, as the place he had worked at for 17 years was closing. His bosses took him to Brighton for a leaving do and part of it was a lapdancing club, I wasn't keen but was mortified that they had paid for a private dance for him, so understand your upset and a £100 is a lot of money!

Would not be happy for lap dance or money spent.. Maybe he got swept along in peer pressure? Afraid there would be rows here over
That, so don't feel like you are overreacting if you have to have it out with him. Hope uou can sort it out though xx

Maybe it was peer pressure and he felt like he couldn't be the only one not doing it. It is gross and hurtful to think about it but you cannot analyse it too much. He most probably doesn't even know her real name and she doesn't know his! It was a stag do - it's not as if he does it every week, and at least he told you. I was watching a documentary on strippers the other week and that helps to realise how pathetic it all is, really. What was his attitude like when he told you? Have you told him your feelings? I think you should, but beyond that it's not worth ruining your relationship. Big hugs though, I would be hurt too, even though I know deep down that it meant nothing. xxx

It won't affect us long term I know that as I will get over it and I do really know it was all innocent but in the short term is has hurt me and I want him to know that. Thanks tho everyone

So I spoke to him last night and he got all emotional and turned it round on me trying to make me feel guilty about how I feel. Typical. He's now sulking and I'm leaving him to it. I will not apologise for how I feel or for telling him about it. He needs to learn to take responsibility for his actions

If it was one of them fun dances someone has paid for and it's in front of them all for a laugh - I wouldn't mind one bit.

IF he went into a strip club and on his own accord spent that kind of money for a lap dance one private I would too be upset with it.

    Big hugs x

Maybe he tried to turn it round on you because he felt guilty for doing it?
Typical man got carried away and did something he no doubt really regrets.
But its you he loves and you he is marrying x
And you have ammunition for years to come!!
Try to be calm and serene about it - either that or go to a club yourself for your hen night and do it yourself - see how he likes it !!!!!!
