    Bread. Its my downfall . Its going to be a long 40 days!!!
    Hardly anyone gives anything up any more do they?
    One year ds2 wanted to give up cheese. he doesn't even like cheese but a good try!!

    No they don't

    Though I have always told me don't give up anything that will make them miserable

    I have told mine try to do one extra nice thing a day. speak to someone who is on their own at school etc. they are liking this approach

    I would like to give up work but there's no chance in that (went to bed last night at 8pm, im sooooooo knackered) so its going to be .....chocolate

    Although, because I'm maxed out with work, chocolate is my best friend so it might not last long
    Time Out.. The perfect time for thinking about what you're going to destroy next.

    That's a great idea. Both my children were trying to come up with something they could give up but they couldn't think of anything they could give up for so long. I will pass on your idea.
    I have told mine I am either giving up cooking dinner or cleaning. Neither went down very well lol

    I have given up coffee ?!? I know slightly crazy. I drink loads ... yesterday was tough, today not too bad

    DS1 has started reading to his younger brother so daddy can relax in the evening instead :-)

    DS2 has given sweets but not chocolate

    And DH has I'm not sure we got talking abt it but something happen I will ask him when he gets in.
