    Have a day off tomorrow. ...and my old friend is coming to see me and my three with her three....so liein in the morning...take my time in getting ready....then wait for the mad house x....wouldnt have it any other wsy x

    Ah but that's very different than mindees! I always have a houseful must be a gluten for punishment as I either do what you are doing or organise play dates for my daughters on my day off! Enjoy and have a lovely lie in!

    Lol my dad says to me at every family gathering, 'this must be like a bus mans holiday for you'
    Never got what he meant until he pointed out I work with kids all week then at weekends with family I somehow end up sat on the floor with the kids playing Lego while all the other grown ups have a cuppa

    I know what you mean, BUT - no need for written observations, no need to fill in forms for the slightest bump/fall, no need to do the daily diary...! Bliss! Have fun x

    We did have a fun afternoon kids all played upstairs. ....but decided to paint a garden oniment..in the bedroom and guess what...yep spilt the paint and tried to cover and vlean it up...oh is going to go mad as the carpet is less than a year old :-/

    Oh no!!! Been there done that! Redecorating spare room for baby on the way and spilt purple paint all over the carpet had to buy a new one

    Oh no. Can you contact a carpet company and see what they recommend? There are some fabulous industrial type of carpet cleaners out there. What type of paint was it?

    Think we have managed to get it cleaned...luckily I had some carpet cleaner that we can spray on x
