    Default WORST SCHOOL RUN EVER!!!

Weather wise that is! I am absolutely soaked through to my underwear! The los laughed hysterically as I ran at break neck speed to the school gates hoping to find shelter under the bike stand but alas...everyone else had the same idea.

So there I stand, getting blown into next week in the pouring rain while the los continued laughing and tapping on the rain cover on the buggy! "You nice and snug in there?"
    Little darlings...not!

So how was your school run? Are you back home safely and now nice and dry?

My lo kept asking why I was wet, it was alright for her in the buggy. Lol. Mind you this was at 12.30, by 3 the sun was coming out and I didn't have to collect

Thankfully I don't do a school run any more

When the rain was hammering down I got my own children's fleecy PJs and put them on the radiator along with clean towels...I'm a good mum

By the time they came out of school though the rain had stopped and the sun was shining, so jimjams and towels weren't needed

Had to cycle against wind to get to DS's play on time. We were late because someone had a dirty nappy and someone else refused to get in the trailer and forgot her gloves! Then wrestled two LOs who kept wanting to join in the play! I left the raisins behind at home, oops :-(. Fortunately DS's bit was first so we made a swift exit. We had fun in the playground while we waited for the play to end. I think if it had been raining too, I would have cried. Home now, in the warm.

Nice and sunny for school run bar the fact that one of my after schoolies nearly took off when there was a big gust off wind. Poor thing just about kept her feet on the ground. She held the buggy the rest of the way home!

Horizontal rain here and 100 mph winds! It didn't help that 7yr lo had a wee accident (and a total meltdown) on my doorstep while I was trying to find the keys!

Very windy school run, small shower on the way to school but luckily didn't rain until after we got back.

Had trouble pushing the pushchair against the wind this afternoon. 1 LO loved the strong wind though: Putting their arms in the air and laughing excitedly! Future skydiver, maybe?

For the first time in what feels like ages the rain actually stopped here at 10 to 3 instead of starting. It was very very windy though and lots of huge puddles. I've been soaked through to undies several times recently. Really need to invest in some good quality waterproof clothing! Pushing a double buggy in the wind was interesting - luckily they wanted to get out and splash in the puddles. And thank god for my dh who very kindly bought me a 7 seater at Christmas so I don't have to walk a mile each way unless I want to now!
