As many of you may be aware, my husband has been doing a year long challenge running 13 x 10k races in aid of the NSPCC and Childline.

Yesterday he ran his final 13th race and has achieved a PB at every race which is amazing.

Thank you to those who donated to his challenge espcially Richard for donations from childcare.co.uk

His aim was to raise £2013 and he is currently on £2195 which is fantastic

A really big well done - think he should move onto 14 half marathons for next year - trouble is they can be expensive to enter, he can't stop running now though - my husband always needs the next race to make himself go out and train (especially on cold, wet, dark nights) otherwise he turns back into a couch potato!

That's exactly what he plans to do, he's keeping the name Team 13 and planning 13 half marathons although no PB this time

He has been offered some corporate sponsorship under the NSPCC to do the half marathons so we will wait and see.
