Having time off with my daughter and family. Seeing my daughter on Christmas day! This is the first year she really understands.

Two weeks off nlans, just chilling and going with the flow. Kids are working Christmas week so we are having Christmas celebrations over new year. Time to re charge batteries and just be there for the family.

I look forward to the last Christmas with my dad. He is 68 and has terminal cancer. I just hope he makes Xmas. Sorry that's really sad

As regulars may know, I'm very Grinchy about christmas - not least the fact that it starts too early.

But I have to hand it to one pub in my nearest city for excessive earliness: they are already promoting and selling tickets for their 2014 St Patrick's Day evening event !!!!!
