Hi Angel, the wind has begun to gather up force now ( we are right on the south coast), but compared to what we are supposed to get later I think its a case of ' we ain't seen nothing yet!' Keep safe everyone! xx

Rain has stopped her and seems the calm before the storm. But I think we will miss the worst

Rain on and off, pretty windy.

I think we are right in the middle of the storm track

I was going to go and visit Glastonbury today and climb the Tor. Then I saw how nasty it is already outside and thought that it would be best to stay inside and do paperwork. A friend has already had a narrow escape with falling branches just walking down her street. Take care everyone.

    Satellite: Europe

Here is a satellite animation of the incoming storm. It needs to load first but by this evening it should show the storm forming.

    Mae'n wyntog iawn, iawn yma.

    It's very, very windy here.

My husband keeps going outside to put the things that have blown away back - how long do you think it will be before he gives up?

Pretty wind here atm down near Brighton, have just been in the garden and moved all the play things so they dont fly away later! Part of me wonders if it's actually going to be that bad though??

I think the storm is going to miss us here. But just in case I have put everything moveable from the garden in to the shed and bought some candles just in case the power goes off.

Hope it is not as bad as the forecasters are saying it will be.

There is definitely a 'calm before the storm' feeling here too. A big branch has snapped off a tree in our garden. We've been getting as much fresh air as we can because I don't think we'll get any later on or tomorrow morning. It'sa warm wind at the moment though, strange weather.

Here on the lovely East coast it has been raining this morning, it stopped and we had some lovely sunshine around lunch time...but it's now very very windy

Not sure whether the storm will hit us, but I'm hoping not...

Not planning on going too far tomorrow if it is bad tho

it was very windy up on the north York moors at lunchtime ... but then its always windy on the moors!

got some squally windy rain at the moment .... but it looks like we'll just get the rain in the early hours and some wind, not high winds.

stay safe everyone in the storms path

    xxx
