Morning it dull and miserable here.

I only have schoolies today so Im now waiting for a friend to drop her three children off and no I haven't gone nuts just helping out so she can go to a funeral.

After that Im baking for the schools jumble sale tonight. Got to get some shopping and go to the merit assembly this afternoon.

Who needs a day off anyhow

    Dull here but mild.

Only got 1 LO here most of the day then 2 others arriving to have tea and then go home .
Have DS off school today as not well so I'm fussing over him, taking him up tea and biscuits.
Roll on 6pm, I feel rubbish and have had enough.

    Morning Angel and everyone.

Dull and misty here too. I have the morning off and should be doing paperwork, ironing, and sorting through the numerous resources I have to put them in some sort of order but what am I doing? On here

You're helping out a friend Fussy and what a good friend you are

My dh is up in bed feeling poorly and sorry for himself. Dd is off school as has a nasty cough and due to her asthma suffers worse than most. I'm feeling as rough as a badgers behind and counting down the hours till 5pm, as all I want to do is have a hot bath and then curl up in bed!

mindees birthday today ... we spent last week deciding what to do depending on the weather and today its dry and brightish so we went on the bus to feed the ducks and out for morning tea! had a lovely morning. I took a risk and 'walked' my 18mth mindee ... lots of walking but LO did really well, and much easier than taking a buggy on the bus!

lots of painting and playdough at home, and now 18mth mindee gone home, 2 others fast asleep. but will need to wake them shortly to go to school. could do with a snooze myself!

have made a pink birthday cake with sweets and candles, and some little iced fairy cakes. birthday mindees mum sent some choc crispies and crisps and bits, so we are having a birthday tea party after school.

Had a nice enough day with my mindees, not so many meltdowns as yesterday lol.

Am now all dressed up up and ready to go to the octoberfest Although I did start to put my lipstick on for the first time since probably this time last year (so is no doubt crawling with some form of flesh eating superbug) only to realise it clashed horribly with my hair , and I only have the one stick. So for the record red lipstick does not go with cerise, purple, rockabilly blue and turquoise hair. Who knew!? And the only pair of boots I have that are not new-rocks or all stars have spontaneously peeled from years of disuse under the bed lol. So new-rocks and no lipstick it is Still, they'd not recognise me in the mess if I turned up all girlified

Had a lovely Friday here. Only worked 2 hours and he spent it all playing Lego with my DH! Nice and easy!

Wine currently going down very nicely! Watching League of their own and getting sore sides from laughing so much! Nothing better than a Friday night in with my lovely hubby....although I think that may be the wine talking!

Was having a lovely Friday when the local fire brigade rang to say they could fit my fire check in tomorrow!
Good news but then had to double check my fire risk assessments ... DH needed to finish plan .. Which is a work of art!

Aprons that hang in front of the fire blanket found a new home and candles put away so I don't have to have a discussion about them. ... Finally settled down to a relaxing Friday night.
