1) Where you been on Holiday Though the years ? I have been to Florida 7 times Vegas once and Australia Once

2) Are you thinking of going on Holiday Next year if so Where? We going back to Vegas again

I will add although I have nothing aganist UK or any other Holiday We love our Long haul Flights

Have been holidaying on Isle of Wight for the past 25 years but in addition had camping holidays in France (Brittany & Normandy)
This year went to Isle of Wight and Seville, in Spain and are currently planning on going to Seville again in Oct (visiting DS who is working there)
Prior to the IOW holidays went to Spain/Majorca, Bugaria, Turkey (Istabul) Yugoslavia (now Croatia) plus Venice and Grand Cayman (island between Cuba and Jamacia) and a few days in Florida

As an adult (I'm 31) I have been to the isle of wight, menorca, Wales, butlins Skegness and the new forest. Our honeymoon was in Somerset. We just can't afford much in holidays we are desperate to move house. Oh says we should book a great family holiday abroad next year and move after as we definitely won't be able to once we are mortgaged up to our eyeballs.

Where would people recommend as a great 1 off place for family with kids 8 and 6? Dd only flown once when she was 2 and ds never has so not long haul. We liked the way menorca was very family orientated but I know very little about travel. Help!

Cuba, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Tenerife, Devon about a million times since having ds. Hopefully next year St Lucia for honeymoon as we're getting married in August.

I worked at butlins started at minehead then Skegness all so Aye in Scotland started as a kitchen porter all I did was wash bacon and sausage tins . The manger saw how I worked (I did not stop for a fag brake every 10 minutes) like all the other as I did not smoke. I then went on to work in reds as a door man the things that happened there world turn your stomach . I could go on but

I suggest Dalyan in Turkey, although can be quite expensive. Anywhere in turkey is very family orientated, look for a hotel with kids activities xx

I'd say turkey also it a quick flight
family orientated and cheap to eat and go out plus most places love kids so give them food for free haha
I've been twice and now taking my 4 plus friends kid so 5 nx year

Thanks guys- sorry for bombarding your thread op! I will definitely look at turkey. And butlins... Well I grew up going to places like butlins and haven and love it but oh isn't so convinced!

Used to follow speedway too so did a few tours of a night or two in places but didn't really see much as was at the racing.

We get married in May so our next holiday will be our honeymoon Dubai and the Maldives - cannot wait!!!
