    Default Large Family Holiday Advice

I'm trying to plan a holiday for next year. I've never been abroad and usually just have 2-3 nights somewhere in the UK so am totally lost and confused over how it all works and where to go. I have the added problem that me and my partner have 8 children between us so need somewhere for 10 people that isn't going to involve a second mortgage. Any advice on where to start would be appreciated.

Its too complicated they want you to narrow down a destination (out of hundreds) so I have to keep doing them one by one to work out which is the cheapest place. I need some indication on which resorts are cheaper than others.

There is a site that gives an "inspire me" box but can't remember which one?
Try cosmos, first choice and Thomas cook
Alternatively visit a travel agents instead and jet them do the work! X

Mainland Spain is cheaper than the Balearics

Tunisia is quite cheap too, as is Turkey.

Salou, benalmedina, benidorm these are quite cheap but depends on time of year and whether you do self catering, half board or all inclusive.

Worth adding up how much spending money you'll need too, meals, drinks ice dreams etc. sometimes all inclusive is better in the long run, even though initial cost is higher.

You could try some of the camping/caravan type places too as they have large tents and lodges on sites with pools and playgrounds etc. Spain is usually reasonable price and easy to get to or France if you want to drive! with a minibus or something I guess.
