So glad that's me done now for the summer. 2 weeks off and ds wants to go to sports camp in the second week. Have loads of paperwork and housework to do and it is ds birthday party on Saturday but feeling so relieved I can stay in my pj's after 7 o'clock. It has been my first summer childminding and it was hard going. Ds is 4 and he was testing to say the least.

Happy holidays!

I know exactly what you mean about your own childthis is my third summer, but as i only look after EYFS children they are normally no different to normal days....however this year my daughter was 4 and after being used to a year of attending pre-school 3 hours a day, she has really struggled with 4 weeks of being with me and the "babies" and she calls them. All she wants is to go back to school, and i feel quite sad by this, as i have taken plenty of time off so it was just me and her doing fun things...oh well i suppose this is part of growing up
Have a lovely break
