Default What colour is your living room?

    Hey all,

I have a beautiful plum living room at the moment but thinking of a change.

I do love purple and was thinking of going for light purple & grey.

Just wondered what colour schemes you all have

    Amy x

Bright sunny yellow! We have a navy blue leather couch and I felt we were limited to white / cream
Or yellow to match and I have to say I love it.. Yellow is my favourite colour cos it is a happy colour!

The walls are bright orange and mexican yellow. There are red and orange fixings and furniture. I have bunting and sequins and hangings in all colours. My house is bright and colourful.

Most of mine is too. I can then change the accessories to suit my mood at the time.

Sunshine yellow with orange curtains and a red sofa, nice and bright as the room is a little dull.

My lounge/dining room has one purple (aubergine) wall and the other walls are a colour called soft stone. Kitchen is yellow and bathroom is a lovely teal colour. Hallway is beige with added dirty fingerprints at toddler height

I have a pale mustard yellow through the main part of the house and all the rooms are different colours.

cream with one wall in a deep red around the fireplace. Beige carpet, slightly darker beige sofas and medium brown curtains. Multi coloured toys strewn all over the place which do not add to the sense of calm I was trying to create.

My front wall is a dark charcoal grey with a big red flower sticker in the corner, the other walls are a light grey, we have a big red corner sofa and silver grey curtains. It may sound weird but looks great x

Magnolia like the whole house! (seems a lot of us are magnolia )

Dark brown leather sofa, laura ashley truffle coloured flowery curtains, pale mushroomy colour carpet, old pine furniture and sort of olive green rug and accessories. Calm

Purple with oak furniture and brown leather sofa! Looking a bit shabby but the whole house is up for a 40k overhaul including an extension, in a few years time (when my minding days end)

At last an adult themed house with a landscaped garden, plants, no plastic toys but one massive hot tub with built in sound system and LED lighting!! (I'm allowed to dream!)

Above dado rail is magnolia, below a mocha type colour and the chimney breast a deep red. Have dark brown sofas and cream poppy print curtains and cushions.

My childminding room is a pale green. I frequently have older ones with ADHD and Autism, Social Worker put me onto an article about green being a soothing and calming colour for children with these problems.
    It works.
