Default Thunder storm's yes or no.

We are having a little one not a proper one like last week with blue lightening.

I love them think its nature at her most beautiful but destructive.

My littlest dd isn't fond of them. My mum growing up would have switched every electrial item off and hid.

Me - I stand and watch them. All electrical items still on im ironing as I watch :-)

I do like them but only at a reasonable hour! We had a loud clap of thunder early morning, this morning and I couldn't sleep after that!

    I love thunder storms...
We had a HUGE storm just before lunch and I ended up with four little ones and my DS cuddled up on the sofa watching the lightening and listening to the thunder...
Loved it...my eldest DS came running downstairs screaming 'wahoo it's a storm!'

Love them. We all sit on my bed and watch them out of the window.

I do unplug the laptop and tv just in case (everything else could be replaced, but if these broke my children would be devestated!).

This is the one that we had the other week. Truly beautiful but it was destructive.

I love a good storm! :-) nature at its best as you get to see, feel and hear it. Quite exciting :-)

My DD4 is a bit unsure but not overly concerned i just tell her its the weather shes asks what that is and we have a chat about the different types while standing on the balcony watching it it all happen. Soon cheers her up as quick as it all over lol :-) xx

I'm rubbish, they absolutely terrify me!!

I don't portray this fear to my children but if they happen during the early hours I literally freeze solid!
I sweat buckets, the hairs on my neck stand tall and I daren't go to the loo even if I'm bursting!! Lol!
My DH is not the sympathetic sort but during a storm he honestly thinks I'm prone to heart failure and reassures me constantly! He even wakes up to check I'm alright!

I used to sleep with my mum and dad during a storm......right up until I left home at 20!!
    Yikes!!!
Mum used to be ready and waiting for me! She'd hear me fire through the bedroom door and fling back the quilt so I could dive in!!

Now that I'm 36 and live in my own house, she just calls me the next day to see how I coped!
How flipping sad am I!! Lol

I love a good storm. My poor sister hates them. She's the same with fireworks too, goes and hides in the bathroom where there are no windows.
