Come and talk to me about CORNWALL..........
We're off to Cornwall on Sunday for a fortnight camping holiday.
Although I've been to Cornwall before, it was many moons ago.
We are staying in St Ives but we are prepared to travel........where/what would you recommend visiting?
On our list so far is.......
St Michaels Mount
The Seal Sanctuary
The Eden Project
Rick Steins restaurant in Padstow
Any other recommendations greatly received (children are 18, 16 & 10)
Thanks x

Watch out for the seagulls in St Ives they've been known to steal whole pasties out of your hand
Have a lovely time, Looe is a lovely little town, they have a gorgeous shop there very near the car park, I have bought loads of christmas pressies there.
We visited Port Isaac (Doc Martin Town). Flambards, went to the Scilly's, something Castle...
You will find lots of leaflets around and I'm sure you will find lots of places that interest you and your family

We stayed in St Agnes a few years ago and we liked Flambards, Newquay Zoo and the Eden Project and when we go next time we will visit the Lost Gardens of Helligan as they were recommended by a Cornish friend

I went to the caves at Torque they were amazing. I went on a fright night. It was so scary. They told you a ghosts story as you walked around then all the lights went out then back on and their was a ghosts standing in the middle of our group. A very well muscled and rather buch bloke screamed like a little girl. It was fab.

If your travelling around and want an Ice-cream stop would highly recommend Callestick Ice-cream Farm Shop, if you're near by. Delicious flavours and a lovely courtyard to sit in whilst you enjoy them.
Agree about the killer seagulls in St Ives.... had a cheese sandwich swiped from my hand. They are also quite evil in Newquay too.

For nice long walks or cycle rides there is the camel trail too. Its an old railway line thats been gravelled over. OH made me cycle 16 miles and I hadn't used a bike since being a teen. Boy was it hard work but sooooo much lovely scenery to look at x
