theres a cat outside!
Oh my there is a cat outside trying to get in my house at every given opportunity.
I have an irrational fear of cats and although ita cute enough I'm kinda freaking out. So much so that I'm even letting the children do painting indoors just so that they don't ask to go out until hubby comes back.
My mother in law said she'd foster it until someone claims it but she's at work until this evening.
It keeps staring at me, probably because I keep staring at it too!
No point to message really lol

get a water gun - a powerful one inside. chuck water on it. It won't hurt the cat but tell it, it's not welcome. sounds cruel but I'm having to do this as there is a local cat terrorising my 1 year old cats and having them cowering in corners or running back into the house when they are playing in their own garden. She still keeps coming though and comes in the house if given the chance!
Mind you she's getting the mssage and she now runs whenever she sees me

Oh dear! Is it still there?

Oh yes it cane round the back of the house and bagged its head on the playroom patio doors. Freaked me right out and the kids just stared at me.
My mother in law has promised to take it in so made me give it some milk so it's still here when she gets here. She'll take it to the vet see if its chipped.
If we do find owners reckon I should send them the bill for my psychotherapy!

lol! Definitely!
Perhaps you need to try some desensitization therapy. Look at the cat while eating chocolate, or drinking wine. You'll learn to associate the cat with pleasure instead of fear

I hate cats too. I own one as it turned up at my house and wouldn't leave couldn't stand seeing in get thinner and thinner. Now it gets yummy dog food. That's all it gets no strokes nothing yet it still hangs around. My vet told me if I took it in they would just put it down.

In my culture its said that when a loved on dies they come to visit you in animal form.
Two months today my grandad passed and I can't help wondering if this is his idea of a practical joke.
So the cat now has a name but is still staring at me. Following me and meaowing at me.
Its ridiculous that I can let a little animal make me feel so anxious and emotional.

aaww it's lovely. If it were at my door (not that it would be because of my dogs) I would be fussing it and giving it something to eat possibly if it looked thin. Must belong to someone it's so pretty.

You can send it to me if you like, I LOVE cats and have recently lost 3 so it would have a good home here (the three died because of old age for 2 of them and one was run over by a miserable so and so who lives a few doors away from me.

What a lovely looking cat, so sweet and innocent! Bet its totally unaware of the upset its causing. I love the idea of your Grandad playing a joke!

Poor you but that cat is a cutie!
It's identical to my old cat that went missing
Looks lovely and cuddly like our Jess was!
Hope you get sorted x

We haven't seen him since late this afternoon so my mother in law didn't come to collect it.
I do feel sorry for it and the kids as they where so excited and my dd has been calling it her cat!
I hope its found its owner and has gone home now. I've put messages on all local Facebook pages with his picture but no one has been in touch.
