    Sounds lovely!

    Although its probably a bit far for me to travel I'm afraid, much as I'd love to visit Ireland :-)

    yeap, it's a shame, there are other minders locally but they never want to do anything. I'm only one who goes to toddlers, soft play, park etc. would love to meet other minders in area like ones on this site

    Yes me too! Gets lonely doesn't it. ? On the plus side it means I get lots of business cos I am the only one who does all that!

    well that is true. I got a bit cross with friend the other week, she is down to one part time mindee ( child i gave immediate notice to 2yrs ago), she was constantly texting and calling asking why I was getting so much work and she was down to one. In the end I told her as kindly as possible that parents arent going to pay £30 a day for their children to watch tv and be fed fish fingers n waffles.

    Told her she needs to get out and about and be seen by others but it seems to have fallen on deaf ears.

    Sorry too far away. I have however been to Ireland twice to talk to the childminding community. Once at Donegal and once to Galway. Were you there? I shared a poem on childminding that I believe was spread widely afterwards.
