So instead of the worst thing about the job....
What's your best thing??
I have a few..
1) seeing child's first moments/words
2) being a big part of their lives
3) being able to organise my own day......
-
Seeing and helping young children become confident people.
Being around at home for my own children.
-
Being at home and being paid to play!!

Being able to be at home for my dd and also being paid for it (just about lol)

I love everything about this job. I even enjoy writing the planning and observations. I love observing a child and knowing how I can help them achieve the next step, it is very rewarding. Oh and I don't have a boss telling me what to do, when to do it!

Being my own boss and being able to enjoy the weather. Being in an office for over 14yrs is hell when the weather is nice!

Agree got to be the sunny outdoor periods
Being paid to be kid lol
Being my own boss and don't have to answer to anyone (expect ofsted haha)
Just seeing the faces of the kids both mindees and mine and not missing anything by going to te office

All of it, n especially when you here little ones laughing their little heads off. It cures any headache, stress or anything x

When your mindees don't want to go home - lovely feeling :-)

Being my own boss.
Having the autonomy to plan my own child centred 'curriculum' and not a prescribed one that doesn't meet the needs of all children, ok I've got two early years children and 3 older ones not a class of 30. That's a plus too though
Being around for my own children.
