Default Anyone recommed good hotel in albufeira??

Just booked our flights seems to be plenty of accommodation available far too much to choose from! Limited though cos we have three kids

We want something near the shops as want to self cater, kids would love kids club and I would like an indoor pool if possible in case it's too early(may) and pool outside is freezing!

    Any recommendations??

first you need to decide if you want the new town or the old town. old town is quainter , fishermans beach , bars round a central square , quite relaxed.
New town ( sometimes called strip , or praia da oura) , more lively , more 'touristy' , lovely beach but down 'cardiac hill!'

olhos d'agua and balaia are further out , but then have some of the 'best' hotels in terms of stars / facilities.

I usually put in my dates and requirements to something like travel republic or low cost holidays. Find a hotel within my budget and then check out recommendations on tripadvisor. Or put hotel name on here and hopefully someone will have been

I love Portugal, we go at least once a year and I've been to many different parts.

We usually get a villa but we have stayed here a few times and loved it

It's a good place to base yourself as you are only a 10 minute walk to the main old square where there are tonnes of restaurants etc.
