    Default A QUARTER OF .....

We did this ages ago ...but as I'm into munchies this week I thought we would find out what everyone likes again

RAINBOW DROPS: Retro Sweets At The UKs No 1 Internet Sweetshop

What did you like when you were a child

    What do you still like

What would you like that you can no longer get hold of?

    Sherbert lemons
    Coca cubes
    Rubhard and Custard
    Flying Saucers

You can if you make the effort get most of them and go to the ye olde sweet shop but its not the same anymore. Doubtful if the local shops have scales in.

Loved going in and asking for a quarter of sweets

    Rosy Apples, yum yum!
Also like bonbons and treacle toffee, but could never stand the cough candy twists, lol!
Me and my sister used to draw a huge sweet jar on a piece of paper and spend hours drawing in rainbow drops and colouring in them, lol, or drawing the shelves of a sweet shop with all the different jars of sweets lined up. The things you remember!
We also used to get the 'real' licquorice twigs that you chewed on, haven't seen them for donkeys years.

    mmm yummy

Cola cubes/pinapple cubes - even though they used to cut top of my mouth and tongue
Aniseed twists (dribbling on computer now)
Peanut sweets - The one shaped like a peanut with chopped up peanut brittle inside
sherbert pips, used to last so long and then stick together!

I used to go the shop on the corner, Friday night with 10p in hand - aghh those were the days

an 'old fashioned' sweet shop has opened in a village down the road ... they sell licquorice sticks! DH was horrified when i bought one!

i love floral gums and cherry lips ... even better - no one else in my house likes them

i like a sherbet or fruit pip, and have just discovered 'millions' ... they are rather yummy - especially the blackcurrant ones!

Oh yes Angel, a lot of the time he is just way too clever lol. It covers all areas too. His dad n i cant even spell words for things we want to be subtle about as he can spell almost anything! If we write things down n pass them to each other he can read it too. Its good fun sometimes but i thought i might at least get another year before we got to this point lol.
