had a bit of shock earlier,

lady from choir rang and our choir master & organist who had been ill, but improving lately, died overnight. we still had choir practice but it was somber and no one felt much like singing, but we have 2 services on sunday and we needed to practice.

this was after seeing a hearse drive past when i was with the children and it had 'daddy' down the side. one child pointed it out and so we ended up talking about that. then to get the news about my choir master just wasn't good.

came home from practice and cooked tea and have had a couple of glasses of wine. about to sit down and cuddle a guinea pig, but not sure i can cope with red nose day now.
