    NO NO NO!

My fear is getting the children to and from school/nursery. Schools have a tendancy to say yes we are open and so I take the children to school then it snows really heavy and they send out the message come and fetch them and everyone gets in their cars (I live too far to walk) and then it is chaos on the roads.

That is what our school did on Monday. Yesterday they sent out their "closure policy" - just getting ready for tomorrow I think!

No I am not. I dont like having to do the school run when it ices over. I dont mind if it waits until Saturday and is gone on Monday

Just looked on Sky news and it says we may get it as rain in our area.

Im looking forward to it apart from the fact I have a school run to do at 3pm. This school has stayed open all week yet all the other local schools closed! I have told the parents if I think that by lunchtime its snowing hard then I will call school and tell them Im coming to collect early. Not going to risk being sat in traffic jam with 4 children aged from 3 months to 8 yrs!

I am soooo excited too nikki thomson.

I live on the same road as the school I pick up from, have got a great pair of snow boots, wellies for all the children and waterproofs and, hopefully tomorrow I will have a garden full of snow.

We had some snow on Monday and still have two (little) snowmen in the garden.

Its the uncertainty I don't like. If they could say now schools were shut tomorrow then I could plan ahead. But as already said, I won't be happy if I have to struggle down to school with a double buggy at 9.00 only to be called back a couple of hours later to collect. I love the snow as long as I don't have to drive.

It's starting to come down here now, having had very light flutters all day.

    Cant wait!

If it snows tonight/tomorrow I don't work Fridays so that is ok, except I need to go shopping and village bus may not turn up and my new cleaner might not make it and I will have to do it myself
Happy to be back with the Greenies
