    Default CALL THE MIDWIFE!

I absolutely love this programme, think the whole show is fab from actors to costumes. I do tend to shed a tear at every episode though!

Series 2 starts on Sunday. Anyone else going to be watching it? xx

I know, its the one thing on tv that I really look forward to watching, the Christmas one was brilliant but made me cry. Its very realistic isnt it. Love it!

I absolutly love this programme especially as the people and stories are real, don't know why i missed the books !

I was born in 1951, so when i see the children i can imagine that was how i was dressed, and the clothes my mum wore.

I love the costumes too, I think Miranda Hart is brilliant in it, having said that I like all the characters. It certainly makes you realise how far weve come in terms of the care new mums get now eh!

miranda hart was being interviewed (by graham norton i think) and she said that the lady that wrote the books, rang her and asked her if they ever made a series/film whatever of the books, would she please play Chummy. miranda said she then had to go out and get the book and read it! she also said that the lady that wrote the books, knew they were being made into tv ( and that miranda was in it ) but never saw any of it as she sadly died just before they started filming.

    i love it too

I love it, read the book before seeing the first series and they have got it just true to my imagination and the text. Miranda is perfect for the role and plays Chummy so well

Will be recorded just in case I don't get peace and quiet to watch it when it is on
Happy to be back with the Greenies
