Everyone I speak to seems to rate a Henry very highly - If they did an upright version I would definitely get one, they seem to last for ever and you see them in a lot of places where they get a lot of use (our local sports centre & childrens centre both have one). I prefer an upright because of storage and also I have a bad back, but have had many different model Dysons and an upright vax (that had the manoeverability of a grand piano!) and now have a really light upright Morphy Richards - it may not pick up as good as a Dyson but it is light and easy to use.

I had my Dyson from 2002 - 2011. Replaced it with another Dyson and so far so good... although I do wish I got the upright now instead!

Ring Dyson and they will come to your home and to a complete service and repair for £75. We had our 10year old Dyson done this summer and they repaced just about every part we essentially got a new cleaner for the £75 quid. Cmae to the house within 2 days at a time to suit us.

Mine gave up weekend before last, I replaced it with another Dyson, I think once you've had one you will keep comparing it with your new
one and pick faults so either have a new dyson or have it repaired

You know the life time filter thingy do not last a lifetime. I have 2 sets. When one set gets full, I stick the blue foam ring in the washing machine (after I have banged the worse bits off), and put the yellow round plastic bit in the dishwasher for usually 2 cycles. All the stuff/dirt etc disappears!

Probably not meant to do it like that, but works for me!

Never thought of the dishwasher! I have just replaced my dyson cylinder with a dyson ball upright. I agree, once you have had a dyson it would be hard to have something else. My new one is completely brilliant.

hi i have always had dysons with the children and 2 hairy dogs the get a good beatingl ol, well my dyson fell apart after just under 3 years, 4 weeks ago i got a henry £109 from currys its AMAZING it lifts my carpet on the full setting and make the pile come back up, its fab with dog hair and will even pick up the hay and shavings from the guinea pigs (the dyson never picked up the hay)
if you put the end on a wall its so strong it will stick itself to the wall lol. comes with 3 extra bags in the box but i have fill 1 bag 3 times so far and just emptied it and reused it,
its a real best buy for us and i would fully recomend giving henry a go xxx
    foxy
