Default My lovely persian cat Buffy

We have just had a burial in the garden for my beautiful cat who sadly passed away at 3.30 this morning (the third cat this year), I only had one little one to-day and he knew buffy had been poorly and when he came this morning I told him he had gone to cat heaven, (he had this with his own cat a few days ago and Mum and Dad were quite happy for him to be involved). We went outside and he set a balloon off into the sky for Buffy. (I had already buried Buffy before anyone came).
It was so moving to see the little one so solemn watching the balloon go up.

So sad. sorry to hear about that.

A couple of years ago all 3 of my cats died within 18m of each other. They were all between the ages of 19 - 22 so not unexpected.
It took a year of me saying 'no more cats' to eventually getting the twins ( kittens ) I'm so glad i changed my mind . It didn't feel like home without cats.

    Ahh, poor Buffy

My dd had two cute dwarf hamsters for Xmas 2010. 1 developed a problem and would spin round and round. He died just before we were going on holiday in the summer. He did quite well actually for saying he was ill.
We buried him in a box and made him nice and comfy with some bedding. We hadn't known him long but it was so sad. The other one is still going strong, although looks very old. They usually live up to two years and he's just over that.

I've grown even more attached to him, it will be even sadder when he passes. I'm dreading the day actually and hope we are not away on holiday.
I think it's quite good actually for children to experience things like this. My DH was never allowed a pet when he was a boy because his mum said it would be too sad when they died but I think people need this.

Sounds really nice what you did
Time Out.. The perfect time for thinking about what you're going to destroy next.
