Cancelled Bank ATM Card?

Can anyone tell me if a bank cash card has been cancelled can you still do telephone banking successfully to get a balance? You need to enter the 16 digit card number to do this. I would have thought not but I'm not 100% sure.

It's not my account. I think my ex has cancelled the card but I can still do tel banking with it so I'm not sure. I couldn't get it to work in the cashpoint this morning?

I would check with the bank your bound to speak to a human at some point! I lost my card twice in a month! First time I was on holiday, when I cancelled it they transferred money straight to hubbys account and after that I was still able to internet banking, which was handy.

I can't call the bank it's not my account. It still wouldn't work this morning so Ex now has a letter on it's way to him advising I have taken legal advice. If he wants a war with me he can have one and god help him. I'm not nice when I'm crossed
