I'm thinking about getting my daughter one of these for her 5th birthday.

I've no experience with them and wondered if anyone could tell me if they're worth the money and suitable for her age group? I see V-Tech do something similiar but the Leappad seems to have better reviews - does this sound about right? Do they have decent educational value?

Her twin brother and sister are going to be 15 soon and are having an IPod each so I thought this would be something along the same lines so she doesn't keep crazing them to use the IPods!

personally we don't like them. but I know lots of parents who do.

my older children have lots of technology so my 5 and 4 yo just use them
