That's great, I have a laminated welcome sign on my inner door in lots of languages, but might just get this as well .... thank you for sharing

This is brilliant, gutted I spent £3.99 on new mat in wilkos yesterday, but I feel this one is far better than my laminated sign with flags which my little ones are convinced should be pulled down more time than its hung up!

I'm sure my DH won't notice if I swap them.

I have 5 Matalan around me all about 16 miles away and none of them have the mat, it doesn't appear on their web site either. Apparently it has been a sale item so Sue was lucky to get it.

As i said earlier i love quirky doormats , especially for the children, so when i get my next one i will keep you updated ( they do tend to wear out very quickly , lots of feet passing over my doorstep!!!)

Oh now I got a good Xmas one last week at my local garden centre Van Hague. It is an outdoor mat and has Christmas trees and candy canes on. It cost £6.99

Brilliant thanks. Just called my local Matalan store. First of all she said no just had one saying Welcome, when I said I'd seen one on a childminding forum website someone had got from Matalan so she said oh I'll go and look I may have missed one. They've got 20 in stock so she's put one behind the till for me i'll collect it when i'm finished work!!!

I hate this you ask have you got such and such and tehy just say "no"
Why can some people not say i will have a good wee hunt around and call you back, they should then actually proceed to call other stores and managers and then ring you back... gosh that really got my goat up
