Default Who do you have your home insurance with?

I'm looking to change because I've been with Natwest since I started working for them about 10 years ago but I think I'm paying a lot more than I need to (especially as I am paying seperate contents and building) and obviously don't get a staff discount anymore.

Can anyone recommend a good company that are happy to ensure childminders?

Do you pay combined contents and buildings?

I think I'm currently paying nearly £40 a month by doing it seperately

I'm too lazy/don't really have the time to shop around so I'm hoping this thread will point me in the right direction

I went for mm this year. I pay £23 a month but thats over 10 months which is handy as I missed a payment in Aug and will again in July, this is great as my wage drops in the summer. Everyone else wanted to charge me at least £27 a month over 12 months.

we pay £40/month for building and contents - but we are in south east so that is quite competitive. We pay over 11 months. I'm with LV

Thanks everyone - I've got an idea who to phone for quotes now!

Do you have to be a Morton Micheal member to have home insurance with them?

Hi I'm with more than, it cover both contents and buildings with accidental damage, but will only cover you for 6 children, not sure if this is 6 on your books or 6 on premises at time of damage.

No, I changed to MM last month and they were really helpful, I was not a member (although I am now!)
