    oh i love mince pies!!!

    any time of the year....have been known to make them in the summer!

    I love mince pies but yes it is rather early, tesco's have started putting out there Christmas stock, biscuits, selection boxes etc, even the kids said to me Christmas is ages away yet. X

    mmmmmmm i like mulled wine ... lakeland do ( or did ) a mulled wine syrup thing that you are meant to add to red wine to make mulled wine ... well, itsrather nice over icecream! ( and i even had a bit with lemonade the other week! ... that was slightly odd, but nice! )

    asda do a black cherry cordial that if you put hot water in it tastes like mulled wine, very nice and non alcoholic!! no good for me

    Yep Christmas is on it's way and you can't get away from it

    Morrisons have Xmas stuff in too including Advent Calendars.

    I took the kids into Co op yesterday to pick some cakes as it's a mindees birthdays. They all complained about the mince pies having a stand saying something along the lines of lest celebrate Christmas!!!

    Chocolate santas? my little one couldn't believe her eye's! Talking of Christmas I still have a Christmas cake wrapped up waiting to be covered with marzipan and icing from last year! Oh well more brandy to add I suppose

    i've still got a panetone ... all year i've been saying 'i'll make that into bread & butter pudding'
