Lest we all forget that this forum is made up of thousands of small business owners, with varying successes in the financial sense (although many do extremely well), but always a huge success in other ways - like being at home with your kids/the joy of working from home.

There are others here, myself included, who have other businesses too, aside from a childminding business. Some in the childcare industry, some not.

We are a mixed bunch of nuts (and I think that term wholly appropriate ), a melting pot of ideas and backgrounds, and ALL have something to bring to the table professionally.

This forum offers personal support far beyond the call of duty.

But as i say to my mindees you are allowed to have more than one friend in life and i guess the same goes for forums. Now Richard about the free forum pens

At the end of the day this is a free forum. We don't pay for it and in my opinion should be grateful that it is here. I'm not on here alot but this is the first place I come for advice and I am really appreciative of that especially with the EYFS update.

I hadn't been on for a while as I was off in the summer holidays and I only knew the goings on after reading a thread and searching on some history! Until then I hadn't had a clue. Looked exactly the same to me, threads being started and people responding.

This forum is awesome, everyone great.. i've been here just over three years now and everyone has helped me both in my personal life and without this forum i would know nothing about childminding

Everyone has there moments and we just had one, a little moment. its heatlhly to have little ups and downs.
