It was my 40th birthday a couple of days ago and it was so brilliant, my dh is away in afghan so i didn't think it would be very exciting but my lovely friends made it so special, there was a knock on the door at 8.30 and it was my friend with breakfast (fresh croissants), she then took my 3 kids and she bought me bubble bath and shower gel so I could go have a soak in the bath, then one of my other friends came over and gave me a manicure and pedicure.
We then went to my friends house where a few of my closest friends had gathered and we had a lovely party, I got lots of presents including a designer handbag and purse, Marc Jacobs perfume, pandora charms, champagne, it was such a surprise, and to top it off my dh sent me a big bouquet of flowers and an iPad 3, it was the best birthday ever.
Just wanted to share my lovely day, unfortunately I'm now back on planet earth with washing, ironing, and the constant mummmmmmy,lol. X
