Does anyone use DropBox?

Does anyone use this and what do you think of it. Is it secure? I'm thinking of transferring some photos from my phone to it, also poss some documents? Is it OK do you think to put childminding related documentation there?

I use it for everything! I also have my phone in sync so that any photos are deleted from my phone and uploaded to drop box automatically each day.

I use it for everything too. But I have no personal info on my phone/laptop so it doesn't affect that. I have put it on my husbands phone too so when he is away I can take pics of our kids and he can see them on his phone fairly straight away. It does require a password so I would guess it is reasonably secure, unless you give your password out or use the same password for everything.

I have been using it for a few years and not heard anything about it being hacked...

I find it invaluable as one of many different ways of backing up.

You could also look at SkyDrive if you have a Hotmail

Yes, they had some spam attacks but it just made them tighten their security even more. Nothing to worry about really.

Yep - I use it mostly for photos, my phone is linked, so I take a pic and i get to see it on my drop box, rather than emailing it to myself!
