Talking This time in 24 hours...

...DH will be taking the DSs (aged 3 and 4) away camping for the weekend and I will be left all alone

    The house will be quiet.
I will have nice bubble baths with candles and a glass of red wine.
I will read one of my well thumbed regency romance novels in said bath.
I will watch my Pride and Prejudice DVD (the BBC adaptation obviously).
I will have (two) mornings of lie-ins, not being woken at 5.45am.

And you know what, I might not even get dressed on Saturday (just because I can!)

So jealous! I have not had time like that in the last 14 years. I often dream of a weekend like that. I would also go for a walk by the seaside, all by myself Enjoy!

He's meeting up with a couple of friends who have little uns too. It's billed as 'lads and dads' weekend (although there is one little girl going!) so I'm sure one extra body won't matter!

Third year on the trot he's done it

He gets to catch up with uni mates down the other end of the country, all the kids play together and I get some r&r. Everyone's a winner!

Fingers crossed the weather improved 'cause he's not allowed home until Sunday
