Off to "play in the park" a council run thing where they take all activities and equipment to local parks, including arts and crafts stuff, the kids have a great time, meeting other minder friends there and taking picnic. Idea is to wear the kids out, but usually it's me that ends up shattered

Good morning all, a lovely sunny warm day here in Robin Hoods Bay.

Yesterday we spent time at the beach which is what we're doing again today. Took a while for Alfie to get used to it yesterday but he then really enjoyed himself.

Having a lovely relaxing time and eating lots of 'junk' so back to diet Sunday

    Everyone have a sunny day
    love Sarah.

    Morning

First day working in over a week, feeling a bit shell shocked this morning Thankfully it's only one 4 year old that I have.

We're taking my own son to his tennis lessons this morning, thankfully there's a massive park there too so mindee can have fun running around there.

Not sure what we'll do this afternoon, might go down to the beach if the weather warms up a bit or if it's too hot we might hide out at soft play!

Lovely and warm and sunny here.

Last day of work before my holidays.

We are off River walking this morning the two I have will really enjoy it. We are near a very shallow crystal clear stretch of a river and if you walk down the middle you can see all the little fish it is great fun.

as i'm not working and was up till 1.30am sorting out my policies ( and getting sidetracked every now and again by the forum. i ended up havingto write a health & safety policy, as although i cover everything within other policies, i thought it was easier to have it as one as well, as you never know how 'perceptive' an inspector, or parent will be! ) i'm having a quiet day!

DS is going to a friends, and DD has a friend coming here, so hopefully they willgo off and do their own thing and i will only have to fullfill requests for food, drinks and craft materials

am going to try and crack on and get my LJ set up for revised EYFS! and then i plan to sit in the garden and read!

edited to say -oops, going to have to go out later ... just bought a cheap sand table and cover to use as an indoor messy play table in argos sale!

Got my TTO sibling mindees today as the mum was desperate for some time off.
So we've got a picnic and going to a local country park that has playgrounds and some animals. Should keep us busy
