Default Who is right... me or DH?

Ok, right now I think DH is a right bum head...

Today for tea I made myself and mindees some fish in sauce, new potatoes and mixed veg... T'was scrummy! I knew DH was a bit funny about the fish so didn't make him any... But intended to make him whatever he wanted.

He came home and I told him what we ate and said I didn't make his as 1. it is nice fresh and 2. Didn't think he would want it and what did he want... He replied... "I don't know"

So I told him whatever he wants I will cook, steak and chips, pork, chicken curry, pasta.... "I DON'T KNOW WHATEVER!"

How the heck am I meant to make him "whatever" if even he doesn't know what he wants...

I told him I would make him some beans on toast with hotdogs then and he said no... Grrrr why can't he just either tell me what he wants instead of saying I am out of order for not just deciding for him????

Grrrr want to rip his nads off!

That's really annoying I know how you feel whenever I ask what we should have for dinner my OH say's 'whatever... you know what to get better than I do cause it's your job'

I once asked him if he wanted a cup of tea or coffee, he said, 'yes' so that's what he got...... a cup of tea with coffee

That made me . Sounds exactly like my DH. When I first met him I had a T-shirt made for him saying 'I don't know' as it was his favourite phrase and still is
Sometimes I just want him to make decisions and not leave everything to me. It gets very tiring

Well before I even read the post I was going to say you're right.
    Now I've read it.
    Youre still right

    My DH is the same
It's infuriating especially when he calls me indecisive! After I've made all the decisions about the children, the food shopping, the bills, the bank accounts, the washing, cooking, cleaning and ironing the last thing I want to do is decide on what to do at the weekend! That's my time off

Sounds just like by DD. Make what you are having and if he doesn't like it he can make "whatever" when he comes in

Exactly the same in my house, except my dh answers "owt" to "what would you like for dinner?" because he's from derby. So that's what we do - eat 'out'!

So glad I don't have to cook for a partner no more, I used to have to reel off an assortment of suggestions to which the reply was 'nah don't fancy that'

I used to cook around my husband's preferences but lately i cook what 'I' want - he doesn't like aubergines but I love them and they are 49p at Aldi so we've had moussaka, and a scrummy lasagne type thing with mozzarella, sausage and aubergine bake etc etc - he eats it and enjoys it as there's nothing else but cereal - I shop and cook to a menu plan, and we don't buy choc/crips/biscuits so there are never flexible meal options around here - our kitchen is tiny so you get what the chef makes lol!!! Tell him as he doen't know what he wants that you will include him in the main meals from now on!!

I would get the same answer from my hubby!
He is useless at any sort of descision.

Drives me mad - its always " you decide" " I don't mind" , " its up to you" etc.

So i make ALL the descisions about everything and then its my fault if something is wrong

As to meals I just decide and cook what i want - he can eat it or not!

Everyone gets what they're given in this house lol. I refuse to cook separate meals for everyone so I decide what is cooking and that's it!

As I got told tonight my mindees Dad '' Men are always right''

Of course as women we know better

I asked hubby if he wanted steak for tea on Sat, he said no we could have a Gino recipe for pork chops I have. Ok I said, once I'd agreed he wanted steak grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Next time I'm not giving him a choice cos obviously that makes really hard for them!!

My DH will tell anyone that asks that he'll eat absolutely anything.....erm....WHAT??!!

He won't eat pasta, mincemeat or jacket potatoes which as we all know rules out most 'family favourite' meals.

He's the one who turns his nose up at what's put in front of him not my kids and has been known to come in-look at what i'm cooking and say "I don't want that i'll get summat later"....how he's never had it tipped over his head just proves I have the patience of a saint.

I'm sure if we had a dinner cooked for us and placed in front of us every night we would be SO grateful!
