    Default Feeling sad

    Well.

    That's it now.

I now have both my sproglets at high school

Can't decide if I feel sad because they're growing up or that I'm suddenly feeling old

    It's bitter-sweet isn't it? I'm dreading September for the same reason. x

    Bless you.
I no longer have "children" both my girls are adults now. I now realize that they grow up so quickly and time really does fly when you look back.
That said, can't wait for them to leave home and let this old woman rest!

I agree totally, I have one left home 3 years ago and getting married next year, and youngest left 4 years ago for 3 months and came back and is still here, don't think I'm going to get any rest yet

I'm still reeling from the shock of my eldest turning into a teenager last Sunday! I mean, how exactly did I get old enough to have a teenage son

And my baby is going from reception to Year One in September and that seems grown up too!
